HeartSwept

HeartSwept is a curated literary anthology devoted to the quiet forms — haiku, lyric free verse, and the short story as breath. Each piece is chosen not for what it says, but for the space it leaves behind.

The name comes from the Japanese concept of 心に吹く風 — a wind that passes through the heart. These are not dramatic works. They are small weather.

We publish seasonally, attending to the rhythms of the natural year as classical Japanese poetry always has: spring's loosening, summer's heat and firefly dusk, autumn's amber stillness, winter's austere clarity.

If you have a piece you believe belongs here, we invite you to submit. The only requirement is restraint — and that the work be true.
